Saddamite soothsayer seeks reward - clairvoyant
Rio de Janeiro - A Brazilian who claims to be clairvoyant is seeking the $25-million reward the United States offered anyone providing information leading to the arrest of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, local media reported on Thursday.

Jucelino Nobrega da Luz has filed a complaint in federal court in Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais state, seeking support in securing what he believes is his due, the newspaper Estado de Sao Paulo reported.

Luz, an English professor by trade, says he informed the US embassy in Brasilia by letter on September 13, 2001 that the United States would wage war in Afghanistan and Iraq. In the same letter, he also described the location where Saddam would hide from American troops, he says.

2. What's with the word 'Saddamite'
First started to hear it in the weeks leading up to the war. Media here weren't too keen on it - rather odd and awkward expression. I assume the purpose of the expression, as you implied, is to create a link to 'sodomite'. Bush must think his freeper base is the whole world.

Shouldn't it be Ba'athist or at most Saddam-ist?
