Liquidation industry 'rife with corruption' - SA
Parcels of fish and chips, small bribes of between R5 and R20, golf days and expensive lunches for officials, cellphones for filing clerks, eats and treats at regular functions.

These are just some of the incentives being passed by corrupt liquidators to equally corrupt staff in the government's Master's business unit - and they all see "nothing wrong" with it.

This is the web of corruption painted by Enver Daniels, the government's top lawyer, who was tasked earlier this year with cleaning up the Master's office.

Now, says Daniels, the justice department is considering calling in the National Intelligence Agency to investigate corruption in the unit, which handles billions of rands worth of estates and liquidations every year.

The liquidations industry - worth R18-billion annually - is rife with corruption - bribes are offered to civil servants regularly.

Does anyone have an idea why CBS doesn't have a 'Foreign 60 Minutes'? Think the Sheeple wouldn't care to watch?
