Explosion in Russian McDonald's

An explosion at a McDonald's restaurant in the Russian city
of St Petersburg has injured at least six people, two of them
children, reports say.

The cause of the blast was unclear, but police said their
initial information suggested that it was caused by "an
explosive device".

Howver, they said they were treating the incident as
"hooliganism" rather than terrorism.

The restaurant is on Nevsky Prospect, the main street
in the city centre.

6. I have been in that McDonald's.

Funny, the big McDonald's in Moscow and this one were the first places they took us when we got there. We could not believe it but they figured that Americans would only want their kind of food. That really says something about us doesn't it? There are lots of things crammed around that McDonald's in St. Petersburg. I am surprised that there were not more injuries. Happy to hear that anyway. Hooliganism? LOL, I love that word. At least they do not jump straight to terrorism like we do.
