The Asia-Pacific region is set to become the biggest naval warship market
Naval officers stand in front of the Elettra Commander, an Italian made super-fast sea surveillance interceptor boat, at the IMDEX Asia, a regional maritime conference and exhibition, in Singapore yesterday. The Asia-Pacific region is set to become the biggest naval warship market in the world, with expenditure to reach US$15 billion annually by 2007, conference organizers said.

1. I can see that a lot of the ships in the region are getting rather long
in the tooth and are so outdated in weapons and electronics it isn't even funny.
