BERLIN (AFP) - The leaders of five major developing nations
on on Thursday signalled they would not bow to pressure from
the Group of Eight to commit to binding targets in the fight

1. "Why are you a pessimist?", "Are you saying we shouldn't even try?"

The 8 largest industrialized countries in the world organize to meet and make sure they stay that way. Two countries with over 2 billion consumers combined will not slow down because they can't.

When you figure out that we're not going to do anything(with or without Bush, he's one insignificant man, the system will keep going), it's actually sort of relaxing, in an odd way. It's almost like receiving total consciousness on our deathbed. So we got that going for us, which is nice.
