A Question
Hopefully everyone reading this forum knows of the correspondence between increases in atmospheric "greenhouse gas" (CO2 & CH4) concentrations and increases in global temperatures.

My question regards the other side of the peak. While greenhouse gas concentrations increase relatively slowly, they decrease relatively quickly, with a corresponding decrease in global temperatures.

What is known about the natural mechanisms which cause this dramatic decrease? Are they being actively pursued?

1. Well... that's different! ... Never mind.
I see I read the graph backwards. (Left is present, Right is past.)

Slow decreases follow (relatively) rapid increases.
