Working Assets Urgent Alert

Tell Your U.S. Representative IN PERSON to
Make Global Warming a Priority!

The League of Conservation Voters, the Federation of State
Conservation Voter Leagues, and Working Assets, have set up meetings
with members of the House of Representatives to give their
constituents the opportunity to speak with them about the urgent need
to reduce global warming pollution. These meetings are happening the
week of April 9th during the Congressional recess, in Congressional
offices across the country.

Our message is simple. Make global warming solutions a priority -
starting right now. It's time to reduce global warming pollution,
decrease our dependence on fossil fuels, and move toward a clean
energy future.

The potential consequences of global warming are catastrophic.
Increased flooding on coastal regions as sea levels continue to rise,
heat waves becoming more frequent and intense, and the loss of up to
50% of all species on Earth are just a few of the dangers we face if
we don't act NOW. We want Congress to enact strong legislation that
reduces global warming pollution by fifteen to twenty percent by 2020
and eighty percent by 2050.
