Gas Boycott? I'll be filling my tank for sure then!
What a ridiculous notion, instead of demanding more fuel efficient cars some selfish Americans want to organize a Gas boycott.

I'm glad that terrorist oil is going for a premium. I hope the price goes higher. I'll do my part today to see that it does.

Sale of Humvees and other gas guzzling SUVs are plunging. Meanwhile theres a 9 month wait for Hybrids like the Toyota Prius.

1. With you on that
We need to pay the same prices charged to Europeans.
Who said cheap gas was part fo the Bill of Rights.

Everytime I see a gas guzzling lizard machine with an American Flag decal on the rear I smile at the price that driver is now having to pay.

Serves them right

3. The middle and the poor are already being crunched
and squeezed to the limit. Why not put a sizable sir tax on all those gas guzzlers perhaps it may get some attention. If they claim it it is their right to own them then it is their right also to pay to drive them. I suppose the welfare to work program is in real jeopardy if these folks can't get to work.

I've sent that info to all my friends. Some of these friends sent me the gas boycott nonsense.

but I was not offended by your post...sorry to dissapoint you :)

I will attempt to rewrite the post, minus the stuff I think got it deleted.

I too am sooo happy gas prices are high. I wouldn't mind seeing them go higher for a bit as well.

I am getting really pissed over Kerry being such a pus** over this matter. I wish he would grow a set of ba**s and tell people to change their lifestyles.

I was really upset when I saw him state that if he were president he would pressure OPEC to pump more oil, and he would open up the reserves in this country. THis is soo unlike the John Kerry of early years. I also was recently told that he changed his position on ANWR, and now favors drilling there, but I haven't seen this in a quote or on a webclip so I remain suspicious.

I would really like him to say something like "My fellow Americans, some of you bought huge SUV gas guzzlers to compensate for your insecurity in your abilities. Some of you bought SUVs to draw attention to yourself. Well, now all I can say is that you are a bunch of stupid f$%*s! Everytime someone sees you in that overpriced oversized inefficient gas guzzler that you probably can't drive well to begin with they will think, THANK GOD I DON'T OWN THAT THING, WHO WOULD POSSIBLE BUY ONE OF THOSE JUST TO GO TO THE MALL!. So get used to it, you wanted the SUV, you got it, now live with it! I won't pollute the environment just so you can have cheap gas for your toy"

Now, I don't get angry at Kerry for NOT saying that, but it would be nice if he could have a message like that minus the condescending attributes of it.

COME ON $3/gal!!!

8. This Boycoot silliness
was on the evening news in Philly tonight. I got a good belly laugh out it thinking about all the folks that think they got the oil companies good.
