Inhofe Speaks! Warming Just Liberal Hype, Defends Stance With Op-Eds
On his current swing through 30 Oklahoma counties this week, U.S. Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., conducted class in Enid on Friday morning during a breakfast meeting with community leaders in the Oak Room at Continental Towers North. Passing out copies of various media stories that included editorials from USA Today and Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the senator railed first against an amendment to the international treaty on climate change known as the Kyoto Protocol.

“If we were to embrace the Kyoto treaty, it would shut down agriculture, military and oil production in Oklahoma,” Inhofe said.

Describing global warming as an issue hyped by “a very liberal media who caters to Hollywood,” one of Inhofe’s handouts was a June 26 article: “There is No ‘Consensus’ On Global Warming,” by Richard S. Lindzen. The piece criticizes Al Gore’s new documentary film “An Inconvenient Truth” that attempts to raise awareness about global warming and its presumed catastrophic effects.

Inhofe criticized the United Nations as a whole, talking about a bill he’s introduced that would allow the United States to withdraw from participation in the United Nations if a proposed global taxation is enacted that would provide aid to developing countries.

2. These Type of Geedy Nutcases
are getting us all killed by standing in the people's way to doing something about Global Warming.

Any lurking freeper here should know they are on the wrong side of history, but you won't, because everything about yourselves has been compromised by lies.

3. Richard Lindzen gets paid $2500/day in consulting fees by oil companies

Lindzen is no fool, but he is a corrupted unethical a-hole who, whatever his scientific credentials, should not be considered any kind of authority on global warming....

Yuck...Inhofe and Lindzen....creeps

4. He is one of the main reasons I pray we take back the senate
The fact that they put that ignorant SOB as chair of the environment and public works committee is slap in the face to anyone that cares even remotely about the environment. I want to see him booted as chair.

5. I'm from Oklahoma - and I say we have Inhofe change places
with a polar bear on the ever-thinning Arctic ice. Swap Richard Lindzen also.

6. I'm from Oklahoma as well, and I'll be glad to trade Inhofe for a Polar
Bear! I'm sure the Bear will do more for Oklahoma than Inhofe has.

In fact, I'd exchange Inhofe for a deck of playing cards, a used CD, a pack of toilet paper, a box of Kleenex, a penny, just about anything. Inhofe is a fossil that needs to go find something else to do, he is dragging Oklahoma down, and holding us back.

7. My brother called to tell me what a loser Inhofe is
He and another buddy of his went to talk to Inhofe about leaving airline pilots retirement age alone especially since 1000's of pilots are on the streets and Inhofe was passed out in his hanger.

I told him he was a fool for not getting that on video!

Just the other day he heard inhofe talking about this global warming being a farce on the radio and he said he just couldn't believe people are actually listening to the fool.
