I do all of my look-ups online so, for me, the book is a waste of trees--not to mention the environmental impact of manufacturing the book, itself.

Qwest customers can call the Dex Directory Source, at 800-422-8793, and request to opt out of receiving a phone book. By the way, keep your electric company's number handy. If your power goes out, you won't be able to look it up.

I was using www.411.com , but it got worse with out of state paid listings clogging up the directories.

I've also used www.infospace.com but I like www.dexonline.com better.
