Email to President Obama about the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline

The Honorable President Obama,

Please deny the permit for TransCanada to build the Keystone XL pipeline. Tar sands oil development has horrible effects on the environment. Tar sands oil production also takes a huge amount of energy to obtain liquid gasoline. The energy return for the energy used to obtain the oil is small and the resulting carbon dioxide emissions are quite high.
