TMI Plant Operator recounts his experience
I post regularly on a board devoted to Arizona Sports. One of the posters, RonF recently revealed he was one of the three plant operators at TMI sent in to shut down the reactor. Ron was the operator that manually turned on a cooling water valve.

Ron has never spoken about this on the board - we all knew him as a Sun City retiree, 72 years old, and faithful Cardinals fan.
