A personal look at the nuclear legacy and the Navajo Nation
I found this tonight while look up info on Japan's pending nuclear disaster. It got me thinking about the issue faced closer to my home. Many don't realize the impact of the nuclear industry has had on the Navajo Nation and other Tribal Nations.

This was done by the L.A. Times. The link is to Day 1 (slideshow with audio), you access day 2 and 3 from the link. You also be able to see some of the most beautiful land on Mother Earth.

1. Thanks for posting this
I do remember this.
Someone wrote a book that said more people died from the Cold War than in World War II because of weapons development, testing and radiation. It is true.
Hanford downwinders are still waiting for recognition and compensation.
