How long are they going to tell people it's safe to swim at the beach ?
In Alabama, Mississippi, & Florida ?

I live in Orlando now. A few years back I lived in Dunedin which is just north or Clearwater. I would not let my kids swim there now. I cant imagine what the people still frolicking around in the panhandle are thinking!!!!!!

Just like after 9-11 when they ( the govt & pols ) said the air is safe for all the First Responders they now say the water is safe for swimming. I wouldn't swim in that shit if Halley F*$king Barber's grandchildren were there......Which you know damn well that ain't happening. What the FUCK ????

Another thing I was thinking...Who the fuck thought it would be better idea to burn the g-d damn oil instead of sucking it off the surface with some g-d damn fucking SUPERTANKERS?????? WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL THE FUCKING SUPERTANKERS ????????????????????

If we go by past experience they will never fess up to the dangers and then 8 years later offer the tens of thousands affected $750 million to split up like they just did for the 9-11 First Responders.... oh yeah and the judge says the settlement is a good deal the the First Responders should take it. WTF

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/11/nyregion/11zero.html
"The new pact drew a vigorous endorsement from the judge, Alvin K. Hellerstein of United States District Court in Manhattan, who had said the previous one, amounting to $657 million, was too small."

Are you F$$king kidding me ?

3. The supertankers are probably full of oil waiting for the price
to go up. This sounds about right judging from past performances of the oil cartels.

6. Double red flags on Alabama beaches now.
No swimming allowed.
Have no idea what the 'penalty' is if you go in the surf.
Will they arrest you?
Who knows.

7. Supertankers have nothing to do with this.
They are not equiped to "...suck it off the surface...".

The boats that can skim oil are specially built and/or equiped and are not very common. I suspect they are working on equipment packages that can be temporarily installed on various boats, but spool-up time is not insantaneous.
