I find this INFURIATING...

The oil isn't American oil. It belongs to whoever goes down for it, no matter where the drill is... "America" gets to bid on what comes up along side of every other market for oil in the WORLD.

3. "Infuriating" is an understatement ...

"There are none so blind as those who will not see" ... especially when
the bastards have input to government policies ...

8. "Dang ... running on empty ... bring me the shovel Martha!"
I'm surprised that no budding entrepreneur has developed a way that
those righteous owners of all the oil in the world can't just go down
to the beach and claim some of it for themselves rather than having
to do all that elitist "paying someone else to dig it up, refine it
and transport it to the gas station".

6. Nuclear is about the same as offshore drilling in the midst of the Deepwater Horizon calamity.
A few points lower in fact.

Wow.
