Making History: White House Says Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill is America's Largest, Ever

Not that this is necessarily breaking news for most, but it is worth noting:


The White House has said the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico will become the worst in American history.

The oil spill, which has yet to be stopped and is leaking an estimated 5,000 to 70,000 barrels of oil into the ocean everyday, has been spewing oil for 36 days now.
