1. Florida goes equatorial

I am not very smart -why does the south pole not look changed in climate? I can see truer polar weather is at the north pole to begin with. Sad if not for long.

2. Isolation

The Circim-Antarctic Current insulates Antarctica and keeps in cold. Warming, up to a point, may actually temporarily increase the thickness of the ice sheet because of increased snowfall.

the biggest threat from Antarctica is destabilization and collapse of the smaller West Antarctic Ice Sheet, which is grounded below sea level (West Antarctica is low-lying and the weight of the ice has pushed the land below sea level.)
