Eco-Friendly and made in the USA

I had heard of toothbrushes made from recycled plastic but I never got around to buying them.

I found out these toothbrushes (along with other products) are made in the USA.

I went to Whole Foods yesterday with my girlfriend and purhcased a toothbrush. I think (I have horrible memory sometimes) it was $4.00. It's a bit cheaper on the website BUT shipping costs were prohibitive.

You can also obtain some of their products via Amazon and Target, to name a few.

I know you want me to hurry up and post the link.

It's a good product -- I keep a few extra for last minute overnight guests. I think they are $2.79 at TJs

2. What I've been asking myself is how much oil is used getting this

plastic across the country to one centralized location. Don't get me wrong, I want this stuff recycled, but I wonder if we are exchanging one form of pollution for another. Is this akin to buying organic produce that has been transported from one coast to the other? I don't have the answer, but I would like to know.
