1. OK, so light oil already peaked, now what?
I see light oil production already peaked, so we're down to using the heavier crudes. This means more profit for refineries with oil upgrading capacity

2. Not necessarily. Sour crude costs a lot more to refine.
Plus, not only is it more polluting, the refined product isn't as diverse as sweet crude. In other words, you don't get as much bang for your buck.

What is out there for "discovering" is either in very hard to reach places or located very deep in the ocean. And to get to either of those types of areas, is very costly.

Things are going to get very interesting.
