Debunking the US Chamber of Commerce's Climate Change Court Claim

Man, that was easy.

The US Chamber of Commerce filed papers this week in Federal Court seeking to put climate science “on trial” - based on many of the same arguments that have been making the rounds for years.

I guess the CofC just wants to look stupid publicly. My prediction is that they'll succeed in looking stupid and waste money to boot.

First let me say I appreciate your efforts and value the information you regularly bring to the table.

With all you've lately written in mind, don't you think that the "debunking" of this stuff is rather too easy? I believe that they have zero chance of this actually going before a court, so consequently I have to believe that it it is just a publicity ploy to get this information out into their media echo chamber in the context of refusal by the court to hear the issue. For the persecuted SaraBeckians out there, this fits perfectly into the narrative of an established social order that has no validity. It also, within the logic of thier belief system, validates the "bunk" that cannot compete in the realm of reason.

The fossil fuel interests are building a movement and their game plan needs to be examined. Keep up the good work.
