Fortune Magazine Features Alternative.Energy Companies


Fortune Magazine has some interesting articles this month about small companies that are coming up with alternative energy ideas that could solve the oil crisis.

2. Exciting!
If we had the right leadership in our country, we could experience another boom (only undoubtedly more sustained) than the dotcom! A quote from one of the articles:

According to the Solar Energy Industries Association in Washington, D.C., solar power alone has grown into about a $5-billion-a-year global industry and is expanding at an annual rate of 40%. Bill Gross, whose solar company, Energy Innovations, is featured in this issue, asserts that alternative energy is "a multitrillion-dollar opportunity. It dwarfs the size of any business in history."

In Silicon Valley hydrogen, solar, and wind power are being talked about as if they were the next Internet.
