My friends' really exciting solar project in Arizona: The Wave

The Wave is a project that I got turned on to when I was in Arizona recently. The idea, is to build on this site, on the shores of the CO river, in Bullhead City, a huge photo voltaic cell structure called The Wave. The Wave is an undulating field of solar panels mounted a hundred or so feet up on stanchions and measuring approximately 3,000 feet long by 300 feet wide. Under the panels would be a street of shops and gardens. The architectural renderings of the project are stunning. It's exactly the kind of green project I'd love to see done. The concept was conceived by two friends of mine. They're brothers. One is an architect and the other is a landscape architect. I've never seen or heard anything like it.
