Grandparents help with back-to-school bill
Part of that extended family theme. I would estimate that grandparents have purchased at least 90% of our daughter's clothing so far. But that would have happened regardless of the economy.

With prices for food, gasoline and home heating up, parents are more willing to let grandparents help with clothing costs, says Dan Butler, vice president of retail operations at the National Retail Federation.
