Deep thoughts: if fuel prices take 6-12 months to percolate to consumer...
We're still paying prices for goods/services due to oil at $60-$80/barrel. We won't see today's $125/barrel prices show up at the checkout line until at least November.

2. Absolutely
And the impact it will have on the economy is truly terrifying. Have you visited www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net? Or watched the documentary "The End of Oil"?

4. Oooooh, lifeaftertheoilcrash -- Matt Savinar
Interesting dude. But if you go out drinking with him keep an eye on what goes into your glass -- you're liable to wake up as packages of long pig jerky, for sale on his web site }(

3. You're in a cheerful mood today!
That just gives you another 6-12 months to come to terms with reality. And to pay down your credit card balance in anticipation...

5. I'm an optimist, by nature.
It's simply been obscured by five years of meditating about Canfield Oceans and fractional flow curves.
