Banks having fit over Virginia Bill that would stop foreclosure fraud.
To break this down, 2 links:
this link is to the actual bill:

http://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp604.exe?111+ful+HB1506

This link is to the Market Ticker page that explains and discusses the bill:
http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=177121

this is a summary from the Ticker page:

Bill says: nominee cannot request sale.(That means MERS and any other servicer who claims to be acting for the Trust.)
Bill says: Banks have to prove the chain of title and mortgage, and prove they have right to foreclose.
Bill says: Civil fine of 5,000 if banks don't follow law.

Anyone in Virginia is encouraged to call your state Rep. ( if that will do any good) to support the bill,
( see first link for the bill)

1. Banks for fraud. There is something kind of wrong with that idea.

2. That's a great bill.

Every state should pass this law.
