2. It's a U recovery and not a W
And we still have a ways to go before we reach the vertical part of the U.

Of course we could have had a V recovery, but that would have required a bigger stimulus based on infrastructure, and not useless tax cuts.

"Today's data is positive, but given the high level of unemployment, it's hard to be too optimistic about the consumer," said Michael Sheldon, chief market strategist at RDM Financial in Westport, Connecticut.
