The other side of competition
So let's say there are three car companies. Rolls-Royce, Yugo, and your company. And you have to compete. In order to compete with Rolls, you have to build a better car than they do. But in order to compete with Yugo, you only have to build a slightly less shitty car.

So I'm watching CNBC and the utter crap they are putting out there and it hits me: the biggest boon to come along for CNBC is Fox Business. Because now, instead of competing with Bloomberg, they compete with Fox. And that's why CNBC has gone so much downhill.

1. If there are only three car companies, you could pretty much
compete for the huge market segment that's between Yugo and RR. Why try to knock off either of the other companies when you
could get rich beyond all avarice by simply building a car for the largest segment of buyers out there.
