Mikerowesoft vs. Microsoft
Well Microsoft is at it again. This time turning its' legal department loose on a 17-year-old software developer.

"Microsoft is threatening teenage software writer Mike Rowe with legal action for registering and using the domain name mikerowesoft.com

Microsoft has set its lawyers onto a 17-year-old software writer from Vancouver, called Mike Rowe, because he has registered MikeRoweSoft.com, which the company said infringes on its copyright."

I sent a quick comment off to Microsoft corporate that they are a bit overzealous and should leave the kid alone. It is absurd that anybody would confuse the two.

1. I saw that story on television this morning.
It was on MSNBC no less, and even those reporters were sympathetic to the kid! I think Microsoft is going to either let this one slide or give the kid what he's asking. They're really coming off looking like assholes here.
