Economic impacts of recent eqs and predictions for first quarter 04
two points to note, we are in a building (*increasing size, frequency, intensity) of earthquakes which began in 1940 and really saw accelleration in 1975. Now the most recent period of deadly quakes has had a huge (estimated damage 250 million dollars - US, 300 million in Iran) impact on global economic strength in just 5 days time.

The guys at halfpasthuman have been working this hyperspatial geometry for solar cycle predictions and now feel that they have enough data to start making predictions about potential impacts on earth and when such impacts would most likely occur.

the link to their first such prediction is

http://www.halfpasthuman.com/HPHUE_QRT1_04_EQ.htm

Also check out their previous solar predictions as their accuracy with this method they are developing seems pretty good even if the results are preliminary.

Privately they have said that they are looking at calc's for potential insurance/damage costs for 2004 that are staggering. Something like 10 times the impact of the previous worst year in 1998.

2. BUY BUY BUY
Any and all disasters are good for the economy. They allow the Fed to remain easy and if the disaster is big enough to monetize with abondon. Huge earhquake, no problem. Terrorist attack, BUY BUY BUY. For the government, borrow and spend.

I am not kidding.
