Is silver bullion...
a good buy, if we are going to see a plummet in the dollar. It is much closer to the current market value per ounce than say Amer.Silver Eagles obviously due to the difference in physical form. I am a newbie at this and my guess is any form of gold or silver would be better than alot of dollars. Any comments? Thanks!

1. I would say 'Caveat Emptor'
Buyer Beware. I believe gold and silver are seen as 'hard currency', meaning that they are seen as a more desirable currency if the dollar is going down in value. That's what we're seeing right now, at least against the foreign currencies.

I do recall that there was a Silver Crash in the 70's (help me out here), when lots of people were convinced that silver was the way to go. I even had a neighbor who sold a lot of personal possessions, just so he could go out and buy more silver bullion. The poor guy lost everything a little while later, when silver crashed.

I know someone can fill in more details about the man, ___________who single-handedly caused the crash.

Thanks. (I'd be wary)

3. Hey Slor,
I just sold the stock (Silver mining one, I am keeping the
other canadian one) I told you about with the intention of
buying physical metal. THEN I read the article I just posted
in the EI forum- please read it.
I am hoping to hear Junker's thoughts on the situation.
It seems to me, every way we turn, we are screwed.
Still looking at solutions and will PM you if I find any good ideas.
In the mean time you might want to call my broker at
Monex- I have an account with them and I like the guy
very much- very straight ahead and informative.
Monex: 1 (800) 949-4653 ext: 2854 ("Art")
Talk to him about the safety of silver should the Cabal try to
confiscate US precious metal currency.
He is a great guy, and I trust him.
