And they don't ask for it, because they've already made their pile. And should they be in the dog-house, why their pal's will given them a splendid "golden parachute".

But it sure sounded funny to read... . You can' get more tongue in cheek than that, can you?

Other news channels have since been touting the "official", i.e. SocGen senior-management line, that one incredibly guileful, young criminal had managed to thwart the many, highly sophisticated security mechanisms protecting their trading operations. No mention of his side of the story as reported in the press.

Apparently, most of the shareholders are not buying it, and are planning on suing the bank. Matey's out on bail at the moment, and his first appearance in court is tomorrow. Fun and games and skin and hair flying, if he has anything to do with it. He's not prepared to be their patsy. Vive Jerome!
