Barrick Gold, JP Morgan Chase Sued for Gold Fraud
NEW ORLEANS, La. -- An anti-trust lawsuit filed today accuses
Barrick Gold Corp., Toronto, and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.,
New York City, of "unlawfully combining to actively manipulate
the price of gold" and making (US)$2 billion in short-selling
profits by suppressing the price of gold at the expense of
individual investors.

The suit was filed by Blanchard and Co. Inc. of New Orleans,
the largest retail dealer in physical gold in the United States,
and by Blanchard clients who bought gold bullion. Blanchard
(www.blanchardonline.com) is paying the costs of the suit,
which asks the federal court to terminate the trading
agreements between Barrick and J.P. Morgan Chase and
other, as yet unnamed bullion banks. Blanchard believes
its clients have suffered substantial losses as a result of
Barrick's and J.P. Morgan Chase's unlawful price
manipulation, anti-trust violations and unfair trade practices.

1. Someone said, not long ago, "At the top, it's ALL insider trading."
I think the quote might be from Donald Trump, which would make it one of the very few honest and perspicacious things he has ever said.

outside of my house, which is popping as we speak, and it sure feels manipulated to me.

4. When gold shot up so fast last spring
I knew there was major funny business going on and discouraged buying gold or gold stocks.

5. NVMojo glad to see you're active even though I've been rather

quiet lately. I covered the Blanchard suit in 2004.

In fact I had to pull my story because Jamie Oliphant
was fire and Peter Monk took over Barrick when the Blanchard
suit was filed.

Subsequently Blanchard pulled out of the suit but apparently
they are starting it up again.

It will be interesting how this second run a bat unfolds.

6. Hi there, Gary! How are you doing?
We moved to Reno. I will get in touch soon.

I followed the GATTA stuff in the late 90s and into the early 2000s. It's looking stinky again. That's what happens when we get major monopolies in world sectors like this.
