Is the National Shopping Service a legitimate organization?
Edited on Thu Jun-29-06 10:22 PM by Massacure
I've been toying around with the idea of being a secret shopper and filling out surveys, but I'm so worried about the legitimacy of such organizations. This one by far seems to be the best option, but I wonder if other people have heard anything about it.

1. It is more in tune with corporations finding out your spending
habits.. It tells them what you are interested in buying and will send you so many fliers and e-mails trying to get you to buy. They normally spend most of the time asking about electronics--which is big.. How many people have IPODS. If you don't how many should we pump out there. Do you prefer Apple or Windows.. Do you have DVD's and etc. On the other hand.. I have received free diapers and a ton of coupons for baby crap. Also shampoo, toothpaste, skin care products. Just stay away from the surveys that make you buy a bunch of stuff to get your free gift... its often not worth it.

4. You sure?
I'm under the impression that they just pony up some cash and tell you what to buy, with you rating the speed, efficiency and friendliness of the service.

6. Here is a much better link
http://www.volition.com/mystery.html

This site has many many legit mystery shopping companies you can register with, you don't have to sign up for anything, or pay anything to join. I have had several assignments from a few of these companies.
