Carly's Way
An electronic engineer who worked as a Research Scientist at the Hewlett-Packard Imaging Systems Laboratory starting in 1975 until he resigned in 2003, G.S. thought HP represented the very best of American character -- "a spirit of adventure and a belief in unlimited possibilities."

He charges, though, that starting in 2000 the can-do attitude was killed by management choices intended to placate nervous investors and board members rather than benefit the company and its workers over the long-term. He warns that sustained cut-backs to R&D budgets over the past half-decade may have irreversibly damaged H-P and the entire U.S. technology industry.

1. truly "Pig farmers"
those CEO "pig farmers" are members of the party...the CEO
inner circle party which protects it's own no matter how incompetent
they are.

I still have my HP calculator and was horrified when Fiorina ripped
to shreds such a great company.

But, it is in every corporation...they screw over the engineers
with some sort of idea that engineers are like burger king workers...

and gee wiz guess what they get what they pay for and the US has
dropped dramatically in patents since 2000 plus I agree with this
engineer..innovation basically ended in many ways.

The innovation I'm seeing is coming from Japan (exclusively) it seems (no studies just my biased observation).
