1. Thanks for showing us that poll...
Nice to know we're not alone in our opinions. Now if only we could see those kind of figures in a Howard vs Latham poll.

2. I recently visited with some Australians who were visiting Seattle.
First, they said they weren't fingerprinted, adding that Aussies seem to get special treatment. That makes a lie out of Colin Powell's claim that our fingerprinting program isn't selective.

When we started talking about Bush, they gave him a clear thumbs down.

4. Bush scares me
with what he has done to America. I can only fervently hope that he is kicked out of the White House. I can only hope that our own voters follow and kick out the Howard Government in Australia. I wnat to be able to go back and see my friends and relations in the U.S. in the knowledge that the Constitution is intact, that the Bill of Rights hasn't been abrogated and that common decency is abroad once more. I want to be able to come back to Australia with the same knowledge and expectations of my own country. Please don't misinterpret criticism of the Bush Administration as a criticism of the U.S. I hope most of us here in Australia know better than that.
