1. was just reading it

A little surprised at the swipe he took at DU at the end of the article. I read the thread he linked to, and because his comments were deleted it was nearly impossible to see what went on. Calling DUers a bunch of "cowards" prolly didn't help him much.

I do, however, think mods are occassionally a bit quick on pulling the trigger on low-digit posters. Nature of the beast, I suppose.

2. I questioned the Iraq war

and the truthfullness of bushshite* and was promptly called names and banned, every post deleted no questions asked. There is no freedom of speech on freerepublic. And no, they can't handle the truth.
