Freshman Rep. Grayson: "Limbaugh actually was more lucid when he was a drug addict."
... “Rush Limbaugh is a has-been hypocrite loser, who craves attention. His right-wing lunacy sounds like Mikhail Gorbachev, extolling the virtues of communism. Limbaugh actually was more lucid when he was a drug addict. If America ever did 1% of what he wanted us to do, then we’d all need pain killers” ...

He took down a Bush ass kisser, Rick Keller--- with ads saying he was going after war profiteers--- obviously they were quite effective.

He's coming out of the gate strong.

3. Well, I'm not so sure about that "when" part
But it's a hilarious and accurate observation for sure.

5. Frankly, I couldn't really make head or tail of the remark about Gorbachev:
I can't brag about my grasp of the actual dynamics of the collapse of the former Soviet Union -- but in late 1987 and early 1988, I heard more more than one person say that Gorbachev's policies could lead to such a collapse. So my (entirely unprofessional) reaction to the notion of Gorbachev bragging about communism is that it doesn't entirely ring true, according to what I remember of the era: at the time, I had the (possibly unwarranted) impression that Gorbachev was knowingly taking steps that could deconstruct the Soviet Union. But perhaps it's irrelevant: I expect most of the American would read that quote differently than I did
