I was listening to the weather on WCCO radio this morning because it's about -500 degrees F (I put a banana out on the patio, and 15 minutes later, I could pound nails with it...)
But seriously, on comes Pat Miles, covering the latest John Kerry non-story, and subtle smear: Some (Some??? Who Pat, who??) have accused Kerry of using Bo-Tox. So she spends about 7-10 minutes interviewing a local plastic surgeon about whether or not Kerry really has had bo-tox treatments. The plastic surgeon (accidentally, I'm sure, ha ha) called John Kerry "Jim Kerry". And on and on they went. I'm pretty sure these two experts never got to the bottom of whether Kerry actually used bo-tox, but that's not the point of the story in the first place, is it?
Meanwhile, I am wondering about all the other stories these so-called journalists are not covering, such as: INSERT your own list of huge stories not being covered here.
With all the fodder for a real story out there, the most important thing Ms. Miles can come up with is John Kerry and Bo-tox?!*#$
In case you didn't already know: we are in big trouble, and the media isn't about to help us.
The next story after the bo-tox non-story: things that are being done to curb public urination in the warehouse district. Rudy Luther, apparently, is a leading force in this effort. Huh?
Arrrhhhhgghghgh.....
