new editorialists in newspaper
A new editorial column appeared in todays Philadelphia Inquirer:

http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/news/editorial/7820489.htm

Here is the letter I sent to the Inqy's editors in response:

**

Reading the editorial originating from Spinsanity.com this morning, I was struck by the disclaimer the Inquirer placed to accompany this hit piece against two Democratic presidential candidates. I decided to check out their website myself.

What I found was what I expected to find - a right-wing mouthpiece for the republic party that overwhelmingly attacked Democrats. As with the article you published, there was one, token, short blurb critical (in a mild manner) of RNC chair Gillespie hidden among a multitude of slams against Democrats.

If you insist on giving this advocate of republic politics a forum, the least you could do is honestly identify it as a conservative source. That would allow people to evalutate what they write based on facts. Claiming that Spinsanity (its very name, a combination of two right wing media hacks, clearly shows its bias) is a watchdog of political rhetoric accuracy is a lie worthy of the Washington Times, not the Philadelphia Inquirer.

I am really getting fed up with the crap that appears in the media. Actually, i am beyond fed up. What can we do to counter the corporate media that pushes BushCo. constantly?

Is there any value in even trying to counter them? Or, are we just pissing into the wind?
