Jeff Farias filling in for Randi Rhodes

Here is an announcement from Jeff Farias.

Next week, Jeff Farias will fill in on Thursday and Friday, August 27th and August 28th, on the Randi Rhodes Show on the Premiere Radio Networks from 3 PM to 6 PM Eastern.

Sarge will be filling for Jeff on his live radio show on KXXT 1010 AM at 12:30 PM and at The Jeff Farias Show and Roots Up Radio at 6 PM Eastern/3 PM Pacific.

It could be great, like Lawrence O'Donnell's fill-in stints on MSNBC, or (IMO) more than disappointing like Frangelina filling in for Randi.

And hmmm. Wonder why Randi has been off so frequently???

You might want to try listening to his afternoon show today or from Monday to Wednesday to get a sense of what Jeff is like. He used to be on KPHX 1480 when it was the flagship station of Nova M Radio.

6. Is anyone paying for Randi's podcast?

I already chipped in for Malloy's podcast, which I'm sure is actually helping to keep the lights on there.

With Randi's, I'm just feeling like it's going to her corporate overlords and will somehow end up enriching Rush Limbaugh.

I used to like Randi's free podcast, but I guess I'll try to catch her on the stream someplace or other...
