Today on ABC's "The View," Twitter's founders, Biz Stone and Evan Williams explain the correct verb usage for using Twitter. While they are "okay" with people using the term, "tweeting" to refer to sending out messages on Twitter, the correct usage is "twittering."

Stone and Williams explain to the women on The View explained how they conceived Twitter and where it's future is going.

There have been rumors and speculation about Google, Microsoft and Apple buying Twitter recently. Twitter isn't making its founders any money right now. There is no advertising revenue.

Barbara Walters asked Stone and Williams if they were thinking of selling to Google, Apple or Microsoft and they answered unequivocally, "no."
