Matt "Murrow" Lauer Goes After Chimpy!
So there they were in their photo op best, chimp and Pickles, in fresh new khakis which have never seen a day of work. Journalistic hammer in hand, Lauer went for the jugular by alleging that here was the president in yet ANOTHER photo op. What do you say to that, Mr. President?

Pickles, previewing Thanksgiving by jiggling her wattle, responded that photos ops like this inspire people in America to get all dressed up and act like a carpenter!

The chimpster, trying his best to come up with reasons he was sporting a new costume (damn, this isn't as much fun as playing pilot!) was again outdone by Laura when she came up with yet another dazzling reason that the president and First Lady wear costumes and pose for pictures: to honor the blue collar trades of carpenter and electrician.

Humbled, Lauer retreated to lackey status once again while the chimp did his best Snidely Whiplash: "Heh, heh, heh."

1. Such hard hitting journalism !
NBC "news" is vile propaganda.

GE corporate bosses have ordered Level 10 (catapult) propaganda effort to help the stuffed shirt puppet they had installed in the WH.

2. Thank God they didn't let them build a house
(this was billed in some promos as "The President and Mrs. Bush pitch in to build a Habitat house!").

My guess is it would have looked like Buster Keaton's handiwork:

7. not surprised at the "Yesterday" show
..with their shameless pandering. Lauer, Curry & Couric are to journalists what Milli Vanilli are to singers.
But what really annoys me about this sham is Habitat going along with the scheme.
"Shrub, I know Jimmy Carter, and you're no Jimmy Carter".
