A couple weeks ago I found Media Matters and signed up for their email notices. (Boy, they send a bunch, too, don't they?) I like them and everything, and I appreciate what they do and that they have such a sharp eye but...
they also have a real knack for the obvious! Has anyone noticed?
When they report something incorrectly reported in a newspaper or a news report I really appreciate it and that's exactly why I signed on. I think everyone should.
But I just gotta laugh when they point out something that Bill O'liely said or something Anne Coulter or Robert Novak said, or a guest said on Hannity and Colmes. I think, "Well, DUH! Of COURSE it's misleading! They're freakin' rightwinger pundit shows!"
All joking aside...
I kinda wish they wouldn't analyze shows/people who are obviously and painfully biased. By picking out only certain things they say, it implies that everything else was credible. Better to dismiss them wholesale, IMHO.
Opinions?
