Hannity lies to get activists on show
snip A producer of Sean Hannity's radio show noticed that people will balk when they were asked to appear on his program, but when she said she was conducting an interview for ABC News Radio, those same people accepted the offer. Bill Dobbs of United for Peace and Justice was one of those folks, and he did the only thing he really could do - he hung up on Hannity. This is an excerpt from the actual broadcast so you can hear for yourself the exchange. snip

After Dobbs hung up, the producer tells the story of lying to get him on.

1. Good for Dobbs, but he should have
interrupted Insanity and told him he wasn't going to play the smear game with him, that he was there to be interviewed about the upcoming protests and not to help his boss lie and cheat his way into another four years. THEN he should have hung up.

He's a nice guy who does a great interview, but there's a time to shout these guys down, and that was it. Nice that they had to admit they tricked him into the interview, though.

3. Yes it is time these media louts were shouted down.
There is no point in being either "polite" or "fair" with the Hannity ilk. I certainly see no obligation for either.

4. Hannity Hates Hippies
What? Do you mean Sean Hannity isn't "fair and balanced" towards his guests? :)

7. Yes.
Yes, it's real -- it's from the Aug. 26th "Hannity and Colmes" broadcast. He was pointing at the cover of John Kerry's "The New Soldier" book as he was attacking a pro-Kerry Vet to make a point about the "hippy left wing vet protesters" on the cover mocking the "Raising of the Flag at Iowa Jima" photograph with an upside-down American flag.

I think his hand gesture was intentional, but that's just me.

5. I guess you need to ask which person will interview you.
Hannity is broadast on ABC News Radio, so it isn't exactly a lie.
