Call on ABC News to give full and fair coverage to Kucinich, Mosely-Braun
Tell ABC what you think of their decision to pull the campaign embeds for Kucinich, Mosely-Braun and Sharpton. Tell them we DEMAND fair and balanced coverage of our candidates, and will not allow them to be stifled for not being "acceptable" to the media bigwigs.

1. Why? The media and the rest of the Democratic Party have
already chosen who our nominee is. So, I guess it really doesn't matter anymore.

3. heh
I didn't pay Al Gore any mind in 1988, I didn't pay him any mind again in 1992, and I didn't pay him in mind in 2000, either.

And I sure as hell ain't gonna start minding him now!

:D

The only Democrats who have un-budgeably made up their minds are DUers.

18. MSNBC embed on ABC embed
"I knew something was amiss when my ABC counterpart ducked out of an event in Hopkinton, NH, to take a phone call, retrieved her coat and took off without saying goodbye."
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3130153/

Still doesn't sound very routine to me.

21. from Utah indy media
http://utah.indymedia.org/news/2003/12/7021.php

ABC=DEaF

<snip>

At issue here is whether the media will usurp the role of the people in narrowing the field of candidates. The airwaves belong to the people. The people of this country are increasingly turned off by politics and disinclined to vote. Biased and superficial coverage leaves people thinking that their vote does not matter and that they have nothing to vote for.

Monday December 15th at 4:30, myself and 9 others met in front of ABC studios in Salt Lake City, Utah, holding signs saying, "Annoy the media - vote Kucinich" , "ABC... Your job - report the news. The people will choose their candidates" and "We are going to Rock the Vote by Rocking the Boat! The Media is NOT going to shut us out! ", and Kucinich For President signs, among others, in 32 degree weather. ABC did come out to tell us not to park in their parking lot. We called the news desk repeatedly and were told breaking news was coming in and we'd have to wait, but they'd be there soon. Well, an hour later (I spent most of the time in my car as I had my 14 month old with me) , no one had come to talk to us. We finally talked to someone at the news desk after the news had concluded and after we'd left.

"You could have stayed all night if you wanted to. We're not going to talk to you." was their response.

Other efforts by all forms of media, including the Salt Lake Tribune, have tried to keep Kucinich's name from becoming public knowledge. We are organizing a team to write the Salt Lake City Tribune about it's decisions not to print Kucinich related letters to the editor (Dean was mentioned yesterday), and to edit out the name Kucinich in Joe Inman's last letter, along with his title as the Utah State Coordinator when responding to a letter from the President of Blue Cross Blue Shield on single payer health care, while allowing the Blue Cross Blue Shield person his title in his letter.

22. I hope someone has notified David of this.
This is absolutely a deliberate effort to enact a full-on media blackout in the area, and both David and Dennis should know about it.
