Stephanie Herseth's Web Site Online! (For Congress, SD)


Stephanie Herseth (pictured at left) is running for Congress from South Dakota, to replace disgraced and convicted felon Republican Bill Janklow. She came very close to beating Janklow in the 2002 election.

1. If Thune doesn't run she's in
The Goopers need to make up their mind now if they want to hold their House seat or try to run Thune against Daschle. My guess is that they feel like they will hold the House--especially if the Perrymandering in Texas clears the courts--and will risk the SD seat there, but control of the Senate is more tenuous, meaning that Thune is more likely to challenge Daschle.
