Anyone watch Jim Lehrer newshour on PBS tonight??
Talk of economy (growth but no jobs - yay - ) and conversation with Gen. Clark (won't find HIM trying to hide his military record)

Pretty interesting stuff...and I really love being able to actually hear the GUESTS talk (unlike watching Tweety or O'Lielly)

1. I loved it (obviously).
There's a transcript and the audio is available: next to last item for Thursday.

3. It is indeed!
About the only sane news program out there, aside from the Daily Show *lol*

4. I agree, it was impressive
He actually asked questions and listened to the answers of his guests who were economic experts.

Then the part with Clark was really great, inasmuch as Clark was able to answer the questions without someone babbling, bobbing and weaving in his face. (Did someone mention Fox?}

Definitely the place to watch the 6 pm news (Pacific time). Yesterday I turned on Charles Gibson on ABC at the same time and got the story about the "Mission Accomplished" banner but WITHOUT the part about Bush's statement that it was the work of the U.S.S. Lincoln sailors, not the White House, being a total fib. I was so pissed, I immediately turned it to PBS and will never turn it back.

Shame on you, Charlie. Even CNN reported that Bush fibbed. You didn't even allude to it.

Thank goodness for PBS, on radio and TV (even though they aren't perfect either...still better than the networks!)

5. I always watch Jim Lehre News Hour.....
It's the only news in town...other than New World International...That's the channel Gore wants to buy.....
I will miss it.
Also watch IC....International channel...watch their news from Japan and France...
and watch the German Journal.

The cable networks are like the Enquirer of the News World....ALL that's not fit to see!

I note that these cable newschannels have put Wes Clark on Ignore....but they sure do love showing clips of him, while they dog him......and the clips actually do more good than they wish.

That's ok, they won't be ignoring Clark for too much longer.....
Because he still has "IT" and "IT" will payoff soon....
