Which candidate did the LA Times support in the 2000 election?

The L.A. Times was criticised for not writing enough favorable articles about their endorsed canidate and too many favorable articles about Bush during the 2000 election cycle.

2. Officially Al Gore

The trouble is that even though the did in fact endorse Al Gore, their stories about Bush were much more favorable. The L.A. Times usually endoreses Democrats and then attacks them in their stories.
