Why doesn't Arnold campaign with his kids?
Had he been seen with his kids, it would have consolidated his image as a family man, which then would have insulated him a little against the groping charges.

I wonder if Maria nixed that idea.

1. Probably thought the campaign trail would be a bad place for them
to meet their other sibling.

2. I think Maria nixed the whole political run, but Arnold ran anyway.
I think Arnold chose to do this against her wishes and against her requests. Even his campaign people thought he wasn't running.

And, I agree - I'm sure she wanted the kids kept out of it. Who wouldn't?

3. I think, if they wanted him to win, and wanted to act like it was a family
thing, he'd be out there with his kids, sort of the way Edwards does it.

The whole Arnold camapaign has an air of being R-rated, like, there's something dirty about Arnold that kids shouldn't witness.
