Kucinich supporters
I wandered over to the Kucinich blog a bit ago. I noticed that his first entry at Lessig's had been reposted on the personal Blog.

Here's my thinking, we need to get that blog active. Lessig's a hopping blog with comments out the whazoo! We need to get DK's blog hopping the same way. The more activity we get the more attention he gets. Whaddaya say, can we make this thing move enough to get some attention?

If you've got a blog of your own, link to DKs, and check the volunteer board for other blogs you can link. Eventually we can have a huge chain of blogs that will reach people who might not hear about Kucinich otherwise.

2. Hmm. Maybe I should change my sig.
I've seen a few with websites in them, I can toss the blog address into mine, but it won't make much difference unless people are posting responses. Basically the interaction needs to be similar to a board like this. That's what goes on at Lessig's blog, and honestly I have a blast there.

The one guy I argue with most about Kucinich usually leaves me laughing at the end of our debates!

There's another reason for me suggesting this. The Dean campaign has made extremely efficient use of the internet resources, and we Kucinich supporters really need to build ours up. The blogs and personal web-pages are a good way to get hits from the search engines and lead people to the DK website.

3. I totally agree about the blog thing
both activating it more & your logo.

(right now I am so busy working on the DK campaign & trying to keep up with my own biz that I have to limit my surfing time...and I admit...I hang out on DU too much...)

but I'll try to make it to the blog more... :)

peace & love

5. I've seen a lot of postings about blogs
Are they some kind of discussion board or what and is Dennis's reachable through his website?

6. Blogs are usually a sort of online journal
Kind of like LiveJournal if you've heard of that? Most invite reader comments, which is what Kucinich's does. Lessig has the same kind of thing except every now and again he posts directly to the people who comment. So far Dennis hasn't done that.

My thinking is we can drop in things he should address, and hopefully he'll try to hit some of those topics in another blog entry. also we can have discussions about why we support him, the issues and such that we like most and others will see that. Possibly be inclined to join the campaign effort.

Anyway, I just opened mine up. It's bare bones and only one entry up, but you all are welcome to come check it out.

7. I followed the Lessig blog for a couple of days,
then went back and read the comments.
But how do blogs work? I couldn't see where DK had replied to any of the comments. Is he supposed to, or just put a position out there? And I had trouble finding things there.

I am also commenting at democrats.us on DK as the "up-and=coming candidate." Because he IS, of course. There is a lot of IN DEPTH grass roots support growing out there,a la Wellstone. He just needs more campaign contributions to make it evident to the nation!!

9. No he's not supposed to necessarily.
Basically you toss out a subject and other people discuss it. Some bloggers jump in and discuss it with everyone, but I wouldn't expect a busy Congressman and politician to have the kind of time needed to do that.

I've never had my own blog because I never had much to say really. I like to talk to people, not so much write just to write. I originally set up at Blog*spot but moved because they don't have comments from readers available.

11. New entry this am
To my blog. From this one I'll start getting into his platforms. I figured it's probably a good idea to get people accustomed to me and my writing style before I launch into campaigning. :D

13. Help!
I've read Dennis' blog site several times, but never tried to post a comment. So today, it tells me I need to log in. Since I never registered, it tells me to sign up as a New User, but doesn't say how or where to do that. And I can't find it. Any suggestions?

10. Okay.
:hi:

I've been out of state and unhooked for a week; I'm back home tonight and will try to stop in and comment at Dennis' blog site frequently.
